Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

On Sunday 30th July I am cycling the Prudential Ride100, a 100 mile cycle event, to raise money for the Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court hospice

Before my step father Ken lost his battle with cancer in August 2015, Sue Ryder provided phenomenal care and support for him, making his time there as comfortable as it could be. The staff did a wonderful job, and continue to support my mum even now. For this, we as a family cannot thank them enough.

Therefore I am aiming to raise £2,000 to help them to continue to support other families going through challenging times. It is an incredible place, where the staff go above and beyond for the patients in their care. Any donations would be hugely appreciated.

Your kind donations would be used in the following ways:

pays for one hour of incredible care.

would provide a complementary therapy session, such as massage, aromatherapy and reiki. These help improve feelings of well-being and alleviate symptoms such as anxiety, breathlessness, pain and feeling sick.

provides one session of bereavement counselling for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one.

pays for a visit from our Clinical Nurse Specialists to support a patient at home.

pays for one day of incredible hospice care for a patient.

pays for a nurse for a month.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Huge thanks,

Henry
