Story

I'm 50 in April & in my 'try to turn negatives into positives' attitude since Ken died, I've decided to attempt to raise £500 this year for Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice ( no surprises there I know!) I'm sure you all feel that I go on about the hospice too much but until you're misfortunate enough to need them, you can have NO idea how special & incredible a place it is. Kens care alone cost at least £4000 and they've also provided unlimited support & counselling to me.

I've been unable to work since Ken died due to PTSD and anxiety. Knitting for the hospice has been the best therapy- I'm so grateful to my psychologist for suggesting I take up knitting again!

Following our super successful yarn bombing we are now planning a HUGE project in May 2018 & I’ve recruited over 100 ‘Knits’ to help. Watch this space for the project to be revealed!!

I ( & now my team of Knits) have already made £1050 & exceeded my target which will provide hours of incredible nursing care.

Thanks for reading. Please be in touch if you would like to help!
